Behind the character "Treuenhof" is Peter Alterberg recognized, "Winkler" = Arthur Schnitzler, "Flatterer" = Frida Uhl, "Rapp" = Stefan Großmann, "Willi" = Hans Lang, "Van Zack" = Adolf Loos, and "Lisa" = Lina Loos.
