海象爷爷并不是一只老海象，而是一一个整天在沙滩上晒太阳抽烟的老爷爷。在俄罗斯，人们把整天无所事事，终日趴在沙滩上晒太阳的大胖子称为“海象”。这位老爷爷天天趴在沙滩上，直到有一天，他和沙滩融为一体，他死了……一家人团聚在这片沙滩上，奶奶在祷告，妈妈在嚎叫……最后，一家人相拥而泣。有些人，活着时，我们不懂得珍惜，直到失去后，才后悔莫及……
